Supervised kitesurf rental in Marsa Alam is for kitesurfers who want time on the water with someone watching over them. It suits you if you cannot yet stay upwind, if you would like some assistance, or if your instructor does not think you are ready to practise alone.
Every session includes all the equipment you need, plus an IKO Assistant Instructor who stays with you and keeps a close eye on you for your safety.
Choose one day, three days or six days of 3-hour sessions.
If you ride for less than 1.5 hours, you are charged for a half session.
Ready to ride on your own? To rent without supervision, you need to be an independent rider and be able to ride upwind. Unsupervised rentals need a deposit and are subject to our rental terms. See our equipment rental page.
You must have completed IKO Level 2. If you do not have an IKO Kiteboarder Card, we will give you a short assessment before you rent.
Sessions run daily, from 12:00 to 15:00 or from 15:00 to 18:00. Each session is three hours of riding, and you can take breaks.
One day (one 3-hour session) costs €120, three days (three 3-hour sessions) cost €300 and six days (six 3-hour sessions) cost €480.
You can use all our rental equipment, including kites in sizes 6m, 7m, 9m, 10m, 12m, 13m, 14m and 15m. A board, harness, vest and helmet are included. An IKO Assistant Instructor stays with you and keeps a close eye on you for your safety, and boat rescue is on standby.
